To find a contact, click the Find Contacts icon from the main screen.

Once clicked, enter in the search field the name of the contact

Then, click the one of buttons under the search field that suits the kind of search you need.

• Quick Find - will have the software quickly find the contacts from all the contacts in the database and will automatically have those searched contacts as currently selected contacts
  
  
• Quick Find from Selected - will search only for contacts from the currently selected contacts
  
  
• Omit - this option is different from the other options in a way that instead of having the searched contacts as currently selected contacts, it will OMIT them from the database. Note that omitting means temporarily deleting them from the currently selected contacts. NOT DELETING THEM totally.
  
  
• Expand - once you search for contacts using the Find Contacts button, by default it will have the searched contacts as the currently selected contacts. This means that if you display the contacts in a list, the searched contacts will only be the one displayed. Using the EXPAND button while searching for contacts, the searched contacts WILL BE ADDED to the currently selected contacts on screen.
  
  
• Find From Clipboard - will search for contacts based on what you have in your clipboard
  
  
• Full Find - in full find, you can have several options to filter the contacts that you want from all the contacts in your database.
  Once FULL FIND is clicked, you will be directed to the FULL FIND SCREEN where all information about the contact is displayed.
  
  
  
  

  

  
  
  
  To use FULL FIND:
  
  1. Click the Clear Fields button to clear out all the fields from the previous Full Find search.
   
  2. Enter on particular contact information fields that you want to filter the search for contacts. For example, if you want to search for all the contacts that is from Texas, enter TX on the State field.
   
  3. Once you have set your contacts to search, you will then have to select how to search for them. At the upper right part of the FULL FIND screen, there are several Find button as shown in the figure below. 
  
  
  
   
   
  Find From All If you want to find contacts from all the contacts in your database
  
  Find From Selected If you want to find contacts from the currently selected contacts on screen
  
  Extend To Selected  If you want to add the searched contacts to the currently selected contacts on screen
  
  Omit From Selected If you want to omit the searched contacts
